SBT Aqua visited Jutland the day before yesterday to install the latest demo-model which has been tested extensively at our own facilities the past couple of weeks. The demo-model has been developed in the project "Real-time vandkvalitetsmåling i vandsektoren ved elektrisk detektering". The project is receiving a financial contribution from Vandsektorens Teknologiudviklingsfond.
The demo-model, which has been designated "Emma", is a significant step towards realising an online, real-time, durable, and low maintenance bacteria sensing unit in the water sector. It is expected that Emma is the last model to be tested before SBT Aqua initiates field-testing of a fully functional model. As with the previous models Emma has been installed at Vilstrup Vandværk which is operated by Verdo Vand.
The testing period for Emma is scheduled to be two months after which the demo-model will be removed and its components thoroughly investigated.
