Vandsektorens Teknologiudviklingsfond (VTUF) has granted SBT Aqua DKK 1.50 million to complete the project Real-time vandkvalitetsmåling i vandsektoren ved elektrisk detektering (real-time water quality measurements in the water sector using electrical detection).
The project aims to accelerate the development of a product, which will significantly increase the microbiological testing frequency in the water distribution network as well as investigate the possibilities of establishing a sensor network to monitor the bacteria level from utility to consumer. The sensors will be field tested at key locations which are provided by several project partners. The results of the project will be published upon completion.
SBT Aqua would like to thank Vandsektorens Teknologiudviklingsfond for its generous contribution to the project. Additionally, the project is receiving financial contribution from four innovative project partners; Verdo Vand, Svendborg Vand, Sønderborg Forsyning, and Guldborgsund Forsyning. The project is scheduled to begin December 1st 2014 and end June 1st 2016. Our website will feature continuous updates on the project progress.
